Collagen Cacao Bites

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 Cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/4 Cup cacao powder

  • 2 Tablespoons collagen powder (or whey protein powder)

  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • pinch of sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend in food processor.

  2. Pour mixture into silicone molds and freeze for at least 2 hours.

  3. Remove from molds and store in airtight container in the fridge or freezer.

Note: This is the collagen powder that I used, which is slightly sweet. If you use an unsweetened collagen or whey, you might want to use more maple syrup. Taste mixture after blending and add more maple syrup to your own preference.
